From their first day at JHCS, students are gaining a strong academic foundation to prepare them for success in college and life beyond. The following results show that Community School students regularly test above local, state and national averages.

Advanced Placement Exams: We do not offer AP classes.
We believe an exceptional education is created when teachers craft curricula they are passionate about, and when students are able to question, investigate, and think critically without constraints. Our courses serve each student's learning in a more personal and authentic way than can be achieved in an AP class. However, our classes are as rigorous and relevant as APs, and when students choose to take AP exams, they score extremely well, as shown by the test scores below.
