![]() Junior year at JHCS focuses on advanced level courses, exposure to colleges and universities, and leadership within the school. Juniors are expected to take an academically rigorous load of courses in order to help provide them with the foundations necessary for success on the college level. Juniors will begin the college research process and are expected to take the SAT exam. Juniors are to be leaders in the school and help to run such programs as Town Hall, Community Service Learning, and the Environmental Care Program. Typical Course Load 1. Math 11: Algebra II or Trigonometry/Pre-Calculus 2. History 11: US History 3. English 11: Elective English Course 4. Science 11: Advanced Chemistry, Advanced Physics, or Advanced Biology 5. Art: Elective Art Course 6. Foreign Language: French II or III; Spanish II or III |
