Thank you for your interest in the Jackson Hole Community School.
We hope this website intrigues you enough to come visit the school. We will be happy to spend time answering your questions, give you a tour of the campus, and arrange for prospective applicants to spend a day shadowing one of our students.
We offer an intimate, focused classroom environment, a supportive student culture and we value character development and best-effort as well as achievement. We recruit well-rounded students who take pride in their academics and individualism while valuing the strength in community. Our teachers engage with our students outside the classroom as advisors, club sponsors and coaches, as well as working alongside students on community service projects in the local area and afield during school breaks (including projects in Utah, California, Europe and Central America).
The bonds created at the Community School last well beyond graduation, and the knowledge, social skills and character developed here prepare our students well for college and life beyond. If you'd like to speak with people who can share their experience, we will be glad to introduce you to alumni and their parents.
Come spend some time with us. At minimum, you will take away a different perspective on what the high school experience could be, and perhaps that will resonate and you will want to be part of our community.
I look forward to meeting you,
Director of Admissions
