JHCS values the opportunity for students to explore non-academic areas that are of interest to them. JHCS provides advisors to clubs, which are run and managed by students.
Follow this link to a list of opportunities available to JHCS students throughout the year, including travel abroad, local special interest groups, semester-long educational programs, and outdoor adventures.
Each student must participate in one (1) extracurricular activity and one (1) sport or its equivalent per school year. JHCS offers one or more athletic equivalents per season, ranging from rock climbing to lacrosse. Students can also meet the requirement through their participation in Jackson Hole High School athletics. Individualized athletic programs, such as dance, figure skating, or skiing may fulfill parts or all of this yearly requirement, as may participation in theater, music, volunteering or a local job.
