In keeping with the JHCS mission, ninth and tenth grade students are required to participate in all of the school-wide community service projects that will be scheduled throughout the year. These projects are developed by the students and the Community Service Coordinator. They typically happen during the first and last week of school and on early-release mornings.
Eleventh and twelfth grade students are required to perform thirty (30) hours of community service over the course of their final two years at JHCS. These hours must be completed at local, independent non-profit organizations that do not have special-interest components.
