Susan Scarlata, Director of Development & Communications
As someone with a lifelong passion for learning, I felt an affinity with the Jackson Hole Community School (JHCS) the very first time I set foot on campus. JHCS delivers the dual benefits of a close knit community and a world-class education. Blending these things is not easy, but JHCS has done it with great success for over ten years. Interactions with alumni during my short time here all confirm that the Community School prepares students to set out in the world well-prepared for success in college and beyond.
After years at the Grand Teton Music Festival and other non-profits and seven years as a Professor at various universities (The University of Denver and SCAD Hong Kong among others), I am finding the Community School to be the perfect fit for my varied skills and expertise. I am thrilled to be at JHCS garnering support to help students become lifelong learners and leaders in their communities
To continue developing our students and strengthening our community, JHCS relies on the generosity of our supporters. Gifts at any level help us sustain our strong base and prepare for the future. By design, tuition at JHCS does not cover the full amount sepnt per students so fundraising helps cover that gap between expenses and revenue.
Please consider making a gift today (link below), or if today is not the right time, please keep us in mind at the end of the year or at our Gala Auction in the spring.
The class of 2016 will mark ten years of Community School graduates. The faculty and staff are thrilled to start the 2015–2016 school year looking toward this goal as well to another decade of successful students!
Don't hesitate to call if you have any questions about for me or just want to chat. My door is always open.
