Head of School

Start date: July 1, 2020

Jackson Hole Community School constituents are seeking a Head of School who will embrace our school’s mission, culture and vision within our small but intellectually stimulating mountain town of Jackson. Stakeholders seek a leader with excellent communication skills, a commitment to a servant leadership philosophy, experience in independent schools including upper school teaching and administration, and eagerness to understand and embrace our distinct school culture. The ideal Head will serve as academic and community leader of the School -- mentoring, inspiring and encouraging the faculty and students.




Requirements: Master’s Degree at a minimum; experience as an Associate Head or Head of School. Applications due by June 1, 2019

Advisory Committee

The Advisory Committee (yet to be formed) will help interview, host and coordinate meetings for constituents to meet the finalists when they come to campus. The advisory group will be composed of faculty, staff, parent and alumni representatives and will provide vital input to the Search Committee. Our timeline for the search will result in naming our new Head of School by fall of 2019 for the position starting July 1, 2020.
