Flexible Tuition and Scholarships

Flexible Tuition

JHCS is committed to making our exceptional educational experience accessible to all students.

Supporting equitable access to a rigorous educational opportunity at the Jackson Hole Community School was a priority of our founders and remains part of our vision to support a school population that reflects our local communities. For the past decade, 30-35% of our students have received tuition assistance, with aid for the 2025-2026 school year alone totaling over $800,000.

With aims to provide tuition assistance to an even greater percentage of JHCS families, we have adopted a Flexible Tuition model to start in the 2026-27 school year. Through private donations, scholarships, and grants, we are able to set tuition on an individual basis based on the means of individual families.

The Flexible Tuition application deadline for returning families is December 1, 2025.

The Flexible Tuition application deadline for all new families is January 30, 2026.

Flexible Tuition Range

For the 2026-2027 school year, the Flexible Tuition range is from $3,000 to $36,500 for grades 9-12. Middle School tuition is $33,000. Scholarships are also available.

JHCS tuition includes course fees; sports and activities at Jackson Hole High School, Jackson Hole Middle School, and Jackson Hole Community School; Fall Trips, Minimester, Hot Lunch, and Field Trip fees. Tuition does not include books or laptops.
