Michelle Heaton

Michelle brings extensive experience in community-led change, nonprofit management, social entrepreneurship, educational leadership and innovation, evaluation and research, teaching, and transformative coaching. Currently, Michelle is a senior leader at LegacyWorks Group (LWG), a network of changemakers and impact entrepreneurs stewarding place-based initiatives, social enterprises, and projects that address an array of critical community needs. Previously, Michelle served as Head of School and Chief Education Officer at Teton Science Schools. She also taught middle- and high school science, designed curricula, and led service learning initiatives at Buckingham, Browne & Nichols, and Fenn Schools in the Boston area. A lifelong learner, Michelle holds masters degrees in both Education and Environmental Science and a doctoral degree in Environmental Studies. Michelle lives with her family in Teton Valley, Idaho.
