Marc Andersen

Marc Andersen co-founded Flat Footed LLC, a private investment firm focused on special situation, asset-heavy companies with complex capital structures. Prior to Flat Footed, Marc co-founded various other private investment vehicles, including Axial Capital and Darwin Capital Partners, after beginning his career as an analyst at Bear Stearns. Marc serves on the board of White Energy, a low-carbon fuels company, and has served on the boards or advisory committees of numerous youth-oriented nonprofit entities. He earned a B.S.E. in Mechanical Engineering and a certificate in Operations Research from Princeton University. 

Marc and his wife, Marilyn, have two sons, Oscar, 20, and Max, 18 (JHCS '27), and a daughter, Bridget, 17 (JHCS '28). In his free time, Marc enjoys distance running, mountain biking, skiing, and exploring the world with his family.
