JHCS Student Government Association (SGA)

The SGA builds respect within the student body, encourages the involvement of all students in school life, and creates opportunities for the expression and celebration of school spirit. Officers serve as the liaison between the student body and the school administration, representing their fellow students and advocating for their ideas and innovations. All students are invited to attend the bi-monthly SGA meetings.

SGA coordinates Fall and Spring Spirit Weeks, a holiday gift exchange, the sale of Valentine's candy grams, and periodic lunch activities for the student body. In 2025-26, they have collaborated with the Parent Association to bring back a free Snack Shack for the student body.
