Hello JHCS families, students, and friends.  Please find our latest COVID-19 Protocols as well as the most up-to-date Isolation and Quarantine Protocols below.

The JHCS COVID-19 Protocols detail all our policies related to COVID-19.

JHCS Isolation and Quarantine Protocols are our protocols for close contact and COVID-19 positive individuals.

Update, May 6, 2022
We have updated our COVID-19 protocols to reflect Teton County's green risk level. We are fully mask-optional for students, staff, and visitors in all settings with the exception of students and staff members who have been identified as a close contact of a COVID-19 case per CDC recommendations and are advised to wear a mask for a certain number of days.

Update, February 28, 2022
We have updated our COVID-19 protocols to reflect the latest CDC Guidance. We are now mask-optional and no longer enforcing social distancing.

Masks will still be required when:
  • The school gathers for all-school in-person indoor events, such as Town Hall
  • A student begins displaying symptoms of illness during the school day.
  • Students and staff are traveling in vans or buses as part of school organized trips
  • Students or staff members have been identified as a close contact of a COVID-19 case per CDC recommendations and are advised to wear a mask for a certain number of days.
  • Accommodations for visitors are needed.

Based on evolving evidence, CDC now recommends fully vaccinated people get tested 5-7 days after close contact with a person with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 (instead of 3-5 days). This has been updated on the "COVID-19 School Attendance Determination" and in "2021-22 JHCS COVID-19 Protocols."
